Muster 2025

Welcome to the Chicagoland Texas A&M Muster

Date: April 26th
Time: Cocktails start at 6pm

Join fellow Aggies in downtown Chicago for an unforgettable evening at the Aggie Muster, a cherished tradition that brings us together in remembrance, fellowship, and the enduring spirit of Aggieland. This year, we are honored to have Nic Taunton ’07 as our keynote speaker.

Nic leads the day-to-day operations of The Association of Former Students as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, driving its mission with a strategic vision and deep commitment to the Aggie Network. A 2007 graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBA in finance, his leadership journey began as Student Body President, where he was recognized with the Buck Weirus Spirit Award and the Brown Foundation – Earl Rudder Memorial Outstanding Student Award.

Following graduation, Nic gained international experience as a USAID consultant in Rwanda before earning his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 2011. He began his career in commercial litigation at Norton Rose Fulbright before transitioning to nonprofit leadership at The Association in 2014. His tenure as Director of Development and later as Vice President of Development was marked by significant advancements in fundraising and marketing initiatives. In 2023, Nic became The Association’s first-ever Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, shaping the organization’s strategic direction and operational excellence.

Nic and his wife, Brittany ’08, are dedicated supporters of the Aggie community as Endowed Century Club members and proud parents to future Aggies Priscilla, Magdalene, Juliana, and Nicholas.

As we gather to celebrate the spirit of Aggieland, let’s look forward to an inspiring evening with Nic Taunton, whose insights and experiences promise to enrich this year’s Muster.
